Reduce Reuse Recycle... This latest artistic endeavor by Susan Keays came to life the day her partner started buying his barley grain in good old fashioned burlap sacks. These rudimental sacks needed to be gven a second life, and so with the help of the many odds and ends collected over the years the first SueKey bag was created.

The unexpected positive response received for this artistic bag was ample motivation to try for a second. In the fabrication of the second bag, the materials used were even more varied. than that of the first, making it a very "over the top" eye popping bag. This creation set off an influx of donations, odd pieces of fabric, old jewelry, lace, ribbon and even an old fur coat; everyone had something in their closets just waiting to be reused.

This was the humble beginnings of the recycled SueKey bag collection.

Enjoy them as much as I enjoy creating them.
